Hello, I am Janina Neumann
Founded in 2016, Janina Neumann Design is a bilingual design company based in Tewkesbury. JND creates brand identities for marketing to the UK and German-speaking countries. JND's services range from bilingual design and branding to interface design and graphics. The bilingual focus ensures clients can communicate their message equally effectively across two languages and cultures. JND is excited to be working with a range of clients; from Science Start-up to Engineering SME to Council to Global Think-Tank.
I run JND with a vision to use my creative skills to support businesses and organisations making a positive impact with the work they do. Whether it is designing the client's first logo or designing their bilingual literature, it all starts with a conversation. I help my clients grow by designing creative solutions that are fit for purpose. Good design is not about ego or following trends. Good design is about making my clients feel empowered in their company brand so that they feel confident to take the right steps to achieve their vision.
But first things first. Let's get to know each other and since you're here, this is a little bit about me...
A bilingual approach to business, design, and communication
I was born in Germany, but have spent most of my life in the UK—you may call me a coordinate bilingual. Being able to speak German and English fluently has given me an interesting edge to how she sees the world. I actively engage with people running businesses in different countries and so I have learned a lot about communication styles, cultural as well as industry-specific.
At JND, I specialise in understanding your English and German-speaking markets and creating creative solutions using my bilingual perspective. My bilingual focus ensures clients can communicate their message equally effectively across two languages and cultures. I can also help you test these marketing concepts and use this data to further develop your brand.
Growing up in a household of scientists has given me remarkable insight into the science and technology sector. My design process is driven by visual and academic research that form concepts that have purpose, impact, and beauty. I help companies explain complex scientific and technical processes with graphics and animations.
I started designing for the science sector in 2010; crafting corporate identities and material safety data sheets. Over the years, I have refined the art of displaying complex data and information in a clear and resourceful manner for scientists and researchers.
In 2016, I refined my craft by finishing with a first-class degree in BA (Hons) Graphic Design, delighted to exhibit at D&AD New Blood and found JND.
Now that you know a little bit about me, would you like to start a conversation?
I look forward to hearing from you.
